my dad usually gets this breakfast mix from walmart that has sausage and a bunch of other stuff then you just add eggs and put it in tortillas. you can even add salsa. its really good and the teens will like it too. they have a bunch of different kinds. or just bring cereal.

for lunch? you can never go wrong with pb&j! but bring other kinds of sandwich stuff too.if you want.

dinner. hot dogs. hanburgers. ummm….potato salad. any other kind of salad like that… it all tastes better when you’re camping. and its all easy to make and pretty cheap.

you might want to consider spliting up who brings what too then you get a little bit of everything.

    Hello,

Try Chex Trail Mix, S’Mores(campfire), Hot dogs (campfire).
As for games & cheap activities, try a scavenger hunt and some of the ideas on the link below. Have a great trip!

If you are going camping for just 2 nights I would suggest stay away from as much cooking as possible. I generally just make hot dogs, burgers, sandwiches, chips, and stuff like that. Lately, I have made a big batch of tuna and potato salad zipped up in 2 zip lock bags (so it stays dry in the cooler) and it is easy and ready to go when I get there. Good luck!

As far as day activities, bring bikes, floaties for the water, and fishing poles. Take walks in the evenings and bring board games. Ususally I have it set up so the only thing I pay for when I get there is ice (essential).

    Have fun!
